During the middle ages the uses of plants as medicine includes treatment for different disorders and were given by what they call the wise women. Medical schools began to appear from 9th century in the medieval Islamic world. Arab travellers had access to medicinal plants from China and India and use it for their experiments. During the modern era many medicinal herbal books have been published and during the second millennium start the erosion of the leading position of plants as a source of therapeutic effects.
Due to the rapid development of science the classical herbal medicine system has been changed to natural herbal supplement and this has been accelerated every year.
